This Holiday season, play with your food! Maybe you never knew that everyday foods like celery, apple halves and star fruit could be used to make art, but here’s your chance to learn! Don’t miss this opportunity to create in a relaxing, fun-filled environment while exploring the beautiful shapes of nature under the direction of local designer and artist Maria Ava Totina Ramos. Maria will teach design pattern basics and color combining as you learn how to turn common fruits and vegetables into stamps to create gorgeous wrapping paper for the holidays. No previous painting, printing or design experience is necessary. Sign up with a friend or family member and make magical, practical art to share this holiday season, while learning skills and techniques you can use again and again! Bring a smock or old cover-up Ages 14 and older *Ages under 14 are welcome to join with an adult at no additional cost 4 students minimum $30 – class fee includes all supplies. Additional $5 up-charge for 2 tea towels.
